A week in London

Everyone has their own meaningful and special moment in their life. Also I have meaningful moment in my life. So, I am going to talk about my memorable moment.

Last December, I had a trip to London, England with my father. I planned everything from hotels to plane tickets.
I was really excited since I left home, because it's been a long time since I went to on a trip with my father. I was glad to visit airport after a long time. I woke up much earlier than usual for move to Incheon airport, but I was not tired.

went around the airport, after had a simple meal at the there, and got on the plane. Fortunately, the plane was a new model, so the seats were wide. But my legs were swollen because it was a long flight that lasted about 13 hours. By the time I arrived in London, my feet were so swollen that my shoes didn't fit. After arriving in London, I led my tired body to the airport train and tube and then to the hotel.

After I woke up, I had a British breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Contrary to rumors that British food is not delicious, it was more delicious than I expected. The restaurant owner found out that we were tourists and told us to have a good trip. My father wanted to see Big Ben, so I went to the Tams River by tube after meal. Unfortunately, Big Ben was under repair and could not be seen intact. Instead, I went to Greenwich by a big boat passing by the Thames. The road was crowded, but luckily I didn't get lost and went well. Greenwich Park was very wide and beautiful. At the place where the Greenwich Observatory located, I could see the London in a sight. It was very beautiful.

After that, I went to the food market in Greenwich, took pictures on the bridge of Westminster, and went to a skyscraper, The Shard. However, I was afraid of the Shard because I was afraid of heights. It was a busy and tiring day, but it was a rewarding day. Seeing my father happy, I thought it was a good thing I came on a trip.

And I've been to so many places in London that there is no place I haven't been to. There was no big inconvenience in move without a rental car because of the advanced transportation. However, the tube in London made me miss the subway in Korea. Anyway, London was a very beautiful city where the past and the present coexist. If I have a chance someday, I would like to visit again.

A moment back then

Though not so often, there are those days in which something suddenly comes to your mind. For me, these are usually momentary flashbacks or small fragments of my past memories and experiences. And one of those memories is rather short but not to say short-lived.  And a lthough I find it hard referring to it as a 'life-changing' experience, it is indeed one of those memories that is deeply imprinted in my mind and means a lot to me. Back then, the 9-year-old me was in Seoul, since my family moved around quite a lot of places. The late-spring sun was glittering like sprinkles of gold, with the family tent set up on the soft grass that overlooked the Han River along with some other tents scattered here and there with people laughing and enjoying their spring excursions. While dozing off comfortably in the tent, I woke up to the tune of relaxing, yet upbeat song coming from somewhere outside. Instinctively, I went out of the tent and danced to the song, with my arms swinging and m...

She Was My Inspiration, She Made My Life Extraordinary

I guess for everyone, there exist those rare moments when an experience that is nothing more than a meaningless moment to others completely changes your life. For me, these moments sometimes happen at school, and today I want to share the most powerful, life-changing one with you. I still remember what I was like in 2017. I was quite an introvert boy, so just like others, I was having a hard time adjusting to the new school life and friends and felt as if everything around me had determined to distress me. (actually, I still feel this way now at our school...) I somehow managed to pass the first semester but the second semester and another two years at middle school were waiting for me. Greeting the second semester with a sense of fear, I met a new English teacher, who later became my inspiration , who made my life extraordinary . Before I met her, I had a  vague impression that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher someday. Yet, as I referred earlier, I was far from outgoing...

Meaningful moment in my life

Meaningful Moment in My Life    After learning the lesson 'Meaningful Life', I thought about what is my meaningful moment in life. It was the day when I traveled to Busan with my friend. It was my first trip(going somewhere far)without my parents. My mommy and daddy were worried about me and kept telling me that I should be careful about the car and people. However, I wasn't worried at all. I woke up in 7 and I prepare for my trip. We took a subway to get to the station and we took a train to Busan! As soon as arriving at the destination, we walked to the subway station (thankful, it was nearby the train station) We took a subway and head to the gallery. But after taking off the subway, we need to find the gallery. I launched the Google Map and input the location where I need to go. It took more than 20minutes to find it. I asked a lady and the man "Excuse me, do you know where is Seomyeon Gallery?" Fortunately, they were so kind and inform the way. The contract...
