Meaningful Moments In My Life : My First Trip Abroad

My First Trip Abroad

Hello, everyone!
There are many meaningful moments in my life.
I am going to share one of my meaningful moments in my life with you.
It is my first overseas trip to Vietnam.

I didn't get on a plane until I graduated from elementary school.
So I was envious of my friends who went to Jeju Island or abroad by plane.
Then in the summer of 2017, I had a chance to go on the trip aboard to Da Nang, Vietnam.
Because my maternal grandfather planned an overseas trip with the whole family.
I was so excited because it was my first trip by plane and a long trip with all my family.
On August 9, 2019, I took a flight from Incheon International Airport to Da Nang with my family and finally arrived in Da Nang. Da Nang was very humid and hot because it was summer, but I didn't care about it in front of the expectation of the trip.

The 4 days I spent in Da Nang were really happy and enjoyable.

First, I visited the famous tourist attractions in Da Nang.
Among them, there are two places that I remember the most, One is Hue Castle and the other is Bana Hill.
Hue Castle is a Vietnamese castle similar to Gyeongbokgung in Korea. I like to learn about history, and this place was a great place to learn about Vietnamese history. Later, the castle building was very big and beautiful, so it was nice to see, and the tour guide explained it very well, so I was able to learn a lot about the history of Vietnam. And Bana Hill is a place with a lot of attractions, It is located at the top of the mountain, so I had to ride a cable car with a very long distance. While riding it, I could feel the natural environment of Vietnam. And Bana Hill also has unique buildings, which are also pretty and beautiful, so it was very good to take the pictures with my family. Of course, the attraction at Bana Hill was really fun.

Second, I ate traditional Vietnamese food.
Vietnamese food was very exotic, but there were many foods that I knew, such as rice noodles and Vietnamese spring rolls. Especially, I was worried that Vietnamese food wouldn't suit my taste, but fortunately, I was able to eat a lot of delicious Vietnamese food throughout the trip.

and I had fun with my family at the swimming pool of the hotel.

After having a great time in Vietnam like this, I came back to Korea.

Through this trip, I can experience the culture and history of other countries, not just Korea, broaden my perspective on the world and get new energy through this trip by having fun with my family.

If you have ever traveled like this, I would like you to share your experiences with me.

Thank you for watching my post so far. Have a nice day!

A moment back then

Though not so often, there are those days in which something suddenly comes to your mind. For me, these are usually momentary flashbacks or small fragments of my past memories and experiences. And one of those memories is rather short but not to say short-lived.  And a lthough I find it hard referring to it as a 'life-changing' experience, it is indeed one of those memories that is deeply imprinted in my mind and means a lot to me. Back then, the 9-year-old me was in Seoul, since my family moved around quite a lot of places. The late-spring sun was glittering like sprinkles of gold, with the family tent set up on the soft grass that overlooked the Han River along with some other tents scattered here and there with people laughing and enjoying their spring excursions. While dozing off comfortably in the tent, I woke up to the tune of relaxing, yet upbeat song coming from somewhere outside. Instinctively, I went out of the tent and danced to the song, with my arms swinging and m...

She Was My Inspiration, She Made My Life Extraordinary

I guess for everyone, there exist those rare moments when an experience that is nothing more than a meaningless moment to others completely changes your life. For me, these moments sometimes happen at school, and today I want to share the most powerful, life-changing one with you. I still remember what I was like in 2017. I was quite an introvert boy, so just like others, I was having a hard time adjusting to the new school life and friends and felt as if everything around me had determined to distress me. (actually, I still feel this way now at our school...) I somehow managed to pass the first semester but the second semester and another two years at middle school were waiting for me. Greeting the second semester with a sense of fear, I met a new English teacher, who later became my inspiration , who made my life extraordinary . Before I met her, I had a  vague impression that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher someday. Yet, as I referred earlier, I was far from outgoing...

Meaningful moment in my life

Meaningful Moment in My Life    After learning the lesson 'Meaningful Life', I thought about what is my meaningful moment in life. It was the day when I traveled to Busan with my friend. It was my first trip(going somewhere far)without my parents. My mommy and daddy were worried about me and kept telling me that I should be careful about the car and people. However, I wasn't worried at all. I woke up in 7 and I prepare for my trip. We took a subway to get to the station and we took a train to Busan! As soon as arriving at the destination, we walked to the subway station (thankful, it was nearby the train station) We took a subway and head to the gallery. But after taking off the subway, we need to find the gallery. I launched the Google Map and input the location where I need to go. It took more than 20minutes to find it. I asked a lady and the man "Excuse me, do you know where is Seomyeon Gallery?" Fortunately, they were so kind and inform the way. The contract...
