My meaningful day of my life : In the Vladivostok

Hello, my name is Ji-hyung, and I'm going to talk about my travel.

When I was 14, I went to Vladivostok of Russia. It was my first travel aboard.
Also, I went to there with my friends and their parents. It was first time that I took a trip without my parents. So I was nervous and excited.

I listened Russia is very cold and cold country. It was March, so I brought long-sleeved clothes.
However, It wasn't cold that I expected. Even at the lunch, my friends and I changed into thin clothes because the weather was hot.

The most interesting thing of this trip was playing in the hotel with my friends. I used one room with my friend Seo-Jung. The hotel had a beautiful view, so we took a lot of pictures. Then, we forgot the way to the cafeteria. In the Russia, a lot people don't use English. Furthermore, we didn't know Russian. We couldn't ask anything. Other friends already left, so my friends and I just waited them in our room.

In the room, we played board game and ate instant cup ramen when we were hungry. One interesting thing was I felt the cup ramen is more delicious than Russian food in the cafeteria. So we didn't regret that we could not go to cafeteria.

In the Russia, I saw a lot of beautiful European-style buildings. These buildings made me excited, because I was interested in Interior. I took a lot pictures and drew them on the paper. I realized various color matches. Specially, the toy store which painted pastel colors was my favorite. Last day of the trip, I went there and bought presents to my little sister and brother.

In that store, I met one Russian woman who wore red long coat. She was good at speaking Korean, so I was surprised. She said that she loved K-POP. She presented me with Russian accessories.

On the airplane to the Korean, I thought it was great travel that I've ever experienced. In the Vladivostok, I met a lot of various people. I was surprised that many Russian knew K-POP. I felt proud of my country. I want to go to Vladivostok again.

A moment back then

Though not so often, there are those days in which something suddenly comes to your mind. For me, these are usually momentary flashbacks or small fragments of my past memories and experiences. And one of those memories is rather short but not to say short-lived.  And a lthough I find it hard referring to it as a 'life-changing' experience, it is indeed one of those memories that is deeply imprinted in my mind and means a lot to me. Back then, the 9-year-old me was in Seoul, since my family moved around quite a lot of places. The late-spring sun was glittering like sprinkles of gold, with the family tent set up on the soft grass that overlooked the Han River along with some other tents scattered here and there with people laughing and enjoying their spring excursions. While dozing off comfortably in the tent, I woke up to the tune of relaxing, yet upbeat song coming from somewhere outside. Instinctively, I went out of the tent and danced to the song, with my arms swinging and m...

She Was My Inspiration, She Made My Life Extraordinary

I guess for everyone, there exist those rare moments when an experience that is nothing more than a meaningless moment to others completely changes your life. For me, these moments sometimes happen at school, and today I want to share the most powerful, life-changing one with you. I still remember what I was like in 2017. I was quite an introvert boy, so just like others, I was having a hard time adjusting to the new school life and friends and felt as if everything around me had determined to distress me. (actually, I still feel this way now at our school...) I somehow managed to pass the first semester but the second semester and another two years at middle school were waiting for me. Greeting the second semester with a sense of fear, I met a new English teacher, who later became my inspiration , who made my life extraordinary . Before I met her, I had a  vague impression that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher someday. Yet, as I referred earlier, I was far from outgoing...

Meaningful moment in my life

Meaningful Moment in My Life    After learning the lesson 'Meaningful Life', I thought about what is my meaningful moment in life. It was the day when I traveled to Busan with my friend. It was my first trip(going somewhere far)without my parents. My mommy and daddy were worried about me and kept telling me that I should be careful about the car and people. However, I wasn't worried at all. I woke up in 7 and I prepare for my trip. We took a subway to get to the station and we took a train to Busan! As soon as arriving at the destination, we walked to the subway station (thankful, it was nearby the train station) We took a subway and head to the gallery. But after taking off the subway, we need to find the gallery. I launched the Google Map and input the location where I need to go. It took more than 20minutes to find it. I asked a lady and the man "Excuse me, do you know where is Seomyeon Gallery?" Fortunately, they were so kind and inform the way. The contract...
